Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 2026. By submitting a project request or commissioning software from SM Code Studio, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Scope & Execution
All project parameters are scoped and agreed upon in the planning phase. Major scope expansions during active builds may require timeline revisions and additional budget allocations.
2. Review & Client Acceptance
Upon build completion, we host interactive staging review sessions. The client has 7 calendar days to test functionality and request revisions that fit the original scope checklist. After this period, the system is deemed accepted.
3. IP & Ownership Rights
Unless stated otherwise in writing, full ownership of code deliverables, assets, database schemas, and documentation transfers to the client once final outstanding balances are paid in full.
4. Disclaimer of Warranty
Our custom software is delivered "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that third-party service APIs (such as Discord Bot API or webhook endpoints) will remain permanently unchanged.
